There will be no matches for a month starting from this week onwards due to the Winter Season Break. Our season will resume back on the 18th Oct 2008. So the manager has decided to give you time off during the Winter Break.
However, the following activities are banned during Winter Season Break:
- Skiing
- Ice/Figure Skating
- Ice Hockey
- Late night partying
- Drinking too much alcohol
- Humping supermodels

Match Analysis:
Hmm... where do we begin? Overall it was a poor game for our standard. Conceding 5 goals at the back. It was a game where individual mistakes cost us the game. But, luckily, there were positives from the match too. Like how we were able to dominate the match for a period of time, considering that the Super Reds were more superior to us in terms of technical abilities.
Defensive wise, we were able to play the offside trap successfully early up in the game. Our line was way up to the half way line! Meaning if one of the Super Reds break the offside trap, our defenders will have alot of chasing to do as there is alot of space between the defenders and the goalie. We have to give credits to Rickie here for commanding and organising the backline. Could we have found a Mohan replacement here? Haha.
Unfortunately, the Super Reds manage to break our offside trap with a clever attacking move. /Their wingers start to pump long diagonal balls behind the defence and in between our centerback and fullbacks. This cause us a few problems cause firstly, the ball was pump into space and no one was there to clear the ball away. Secondly, their strikers were too fast for our fullbacks. What we could have done was that to pull our fullback closer to our center backs. By doing this, their wingers would have to pump the diagonal balls in between our fullbacks and the outside line which is less dangerous.
Lets move on to the midfield now. As usual, Syawal was doing his tackling and spreading passes all over the pitch, trying his best to have an influence to the game. Kashif was doing alright in the beginning till he got too tired. Haha. Soul survivor. Jage was trying his best to cause some problems down the flanks with his running and crossing. And he manage to get an assist! Haha! But he was a little unlucky to have missed his penalty. Not your day today mate! Haha! Ayyub worked hard today down the left flank. Any fullback would be lucky to have him as his winger caused he do alot of defending. But he needs to buck up on his 1v1 skills and the final ball. No offence mate. =) Last but not least in midfield, emilio. He too worked hard but didnt get enough of the ball to do some serious damage.
Lastly, strikers. Finally we had Hidayat. He injected alot of pace to our forward line up. Because of him, we had one of the opponent sent off and a penalty. He was a handful for the defenders. Faizal did okay today. Scored two lucky goals. Luck was on his side. Haha.
But lets learn from our mistakes here lads. To stay compact when defending and open up as wide as possible when attacking. The wingers should run on the outside instead of running in to stretch the opponents defence. Defenders should come closer together as to deny strikers space Till then enjoy your holidays =).

But we started around 3.30pm cause "some people" decided to take their own sweet time even though he knows we were late. But it was actually faizal's fault cause he got the wrong bus and walk at the wrong direction.
In his defence, there were two 190Cs! How would he know that there are 2 190Cs! Haha!
Venue: Punggol Secondary School
Opponent: Some chinese team wearing orange jerseys... Maybe they were trying to emulate the Oranje "total football". But all they did was play long balls! But it was effective though! Haha!

A little bit suprised with the goalscorer here... Left foot somemore! What are the chances!
Match Analysis:
Overall it was a decent game. Finally Parthi played his first match since he went NS! He was a little lost in the game for the first few minutes. Blamed it on "lack of match practice" he said. Haha! Alright big ears! We believe you! Haha!
Apparently the lost boys always struggle against a team who likes to play long ball. Due to the fact that most of our players can't head the ball very well. With the exception of Mohan. Haha!
Our midfielders had a tough time that day againts the orange wannabees. We had no answers to their movements and one, two touches play. To add on to that, one of thier strikers dropped back a few times to collect the ball in midfield this was creating a 3v2 situation in midfiled. We were out-numbered. Plus Faizal was having a bad game that with his poor touches and lack of pressing and tackles. Luckily Syawal was on form that day with his passing and tackling. He stepped up that day.
If only Faizal had change his formation from 442 to 451, it could have been a different story. We could have dominated the midfield if we were even in numbers in midfield.
Our fullbacks were having a torrid time down the flanks. The opponents wingers were always running at the fullbacks all day long. To make things worse, they had thier fullbacks helping them with thier overlapping runs. So it was a 2v1 situation for our fullbacks. Poor Fazlan. Kept falling down! Haha!
Maybe our wingers could have help out a bit in terms of marking our opponent's fullbacks when they are overlapping. Or our centreback could have provided more cover for our fullbacks by going behind our fullbacks. So that in case the wingers has gotten pass our fullbacks, our centreback is there to put pressure on the winger.
Attacking wise, we did okay. Jage was a handful down the right flanks with his runs. Emilio was running up and down the left flank. Helping out in defence and giving options when we are on the attack. Rickie tried his best with a few shots here and there and providing through balls. If only he had more support... he could have made more impact. As for Ayyub... as usual got chances but couldn't convert his chances to goals. Time to bring your goalscoring boots son!
