Our first win. It was a well deserved victory for the lost boys/youthbandits. After series of losses, finally we got our break. What makes the victory even more sweet was we beat our arch rivals.
Sathya played a good match today, making tackles, clearance and interceptions. Ayyub was solid in his new left back position, keeping their right winger quiet. Fazlan played well considering he was playing in a relatively new position, stopper. Faizal was being his old self, ordering people around to do the dirty job for him. All he did was intercept passes. Overall, the defence did a great job considering that they played without Mohan and Rickie. They were rarely in a panic or danger situation.
The midfield did their job today. Making tackles and passes all over the pitch. Jage was running all over the pitch trying to make himself available for a pass. You really do live up to your nickname, Park Ji Sung. Hidayat worked his sock off today. Pressing opponents and giving through balls. Syawal do what he do best. Sitting in front of the defence protecting the back four while giving attacking freedom to his fellow midfielders. However, special compliments have to be given to our pretty boy, Stef. The reason why we won the match. His 25 yard screamer won the game for us. Looks like the midfielders have a new competitor for the midfield berth.
Our new debutant scored on his debut. Mus calmy slot the ball in the corner of the goal. What a way to start! And last but not least, Emilio, a constant pain to their defence with his flicks and vision. A pity he couldn't end the game with a goal.
